well, every time I go out, I take my gun and some ammo. call it superstition, but every time I've killed a deer, I had ammo and a gun. don't change what works, right? smile.gif

ok, so no, seriously, the only ritual my family ever had regarding hunting, was that you had to drink a shot glass full of the blood from the first deer or elk you kill. ever since I took mine, I've never been able to drink jaeger. must be the deer on the bottle I guess.

I dont eat a begal and cream chesse in the morning anymore...if anyone needs an explination as for why PM me.

Thats about it though...well I usually have a can of skoal with me for "luck"...the only time I went out and didnt see a deer this last year was when I was with out it frown.gif

I have a couple...I have an orange hat that has been on ever hunt i've been on since turning 12 even in archery season it comes with and i have a hunting is life shirt the rest is just details shirt the sleves are cut off there is blood stains all over it....i wear it under my camo on every hunt as well

I also keep a small piece of drag rope that my gramps dragged his first deer out with that i keep in my liscence holder

ive had my same hunting knife that my dad gave me before the first deer hunt i ever went on. and i always keep a cigar in my truck to smoke in celebration if i am so fortunate as to get a deer
