Havin to shoot bows, eat, have a good time. Sounds dull. [/ QUOTE ] Do I detect a hint of jealousy? [/ QUOTE ] I AM CONSUMED WITH IT. HarvDog
Re: Any exciting plans this weekend?? [ QUOTE ] Lucky you. [/ QUOTE ] We used to go every year but stopped for awhile after we had our house built. It's probably been about 6-7 years since we've been so we're really looking forward to it. DSGB
Re: Any exciting plans this weekend?? [ QUOTE ] We're gonna have to have a get together closer to the south though. I think I have said that before. [/ QUOTE ] I'm game. Probably too late for this summer, though. Maybe we could all meet here in Columbus and pay Scott a visit at work. I'm sure he'd enjoy the company. I'm on call this weekend, so don't have too much planned. I'm gonna shoot my bow some, but first I need to have some arrows fletched and re-nocked. I shot some yesterday and broke the nock off one of my arrows. First shot of the year was slightly high, but still in the bullseye, second one hit the first and broke the nock, also tore one of the vanes. My grandfather just found out some land he was wanting to lease is available, so I might go check that out. It's 128 acres and is adjacent to my grandfather's property, and it's bordered on the other side by state land that no one can hunt. It should be great, considering that's where all the deer on his property have been taking refuge for the past five or six years since no one's been hunting it. Ohiobucks and his fam are coming over. We're gonna shoot the bows a little, pick corn, shuck corn, eat corn, eat other stuff and drink beer. After my week, I'm afraid I'm going to drink a lot of beer.
