It's abooot time!

After fooling around in my first go-round and putting it off for too many years, I'm finally going back to school this fall!

To save money, I'm taking general education classes to get my associates in liberal arts at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Once I complete that, I'll transfer to UW-Milwaukee for a bachelor's in political science.

Of course, this is all subject to change if I get offered a position as a hunting pro at Realtree. I won't hold my breath on that once since I'm still basically a rookie hunter...lol

Anyway, I'm really excited and just hope I'll be able to stay focused and not repeat my mistakes of the past. Then again, the $20,000 or so I already have out in student loans is a constant reminder...LOL

Re: It\'s abooot time!

Congratulations! I went back to college later in life, and am three classes away from my bachelors degree. It hasn't been easy, but well worth it!

If you haven't already, make sure your credits will transfer to the other college....I took some classes at a tech college and transferred to a state university. It was very depressing to see my geometry, statistics, algebra, and calc classes all lumped into one 'basic math' class at the university. crazy.gif Those classes all ended up being a waste of money as I had to take them over again for full credit.
