I had a little over E, and just let er go almost all the way to full. It cost me 75 bucks. If gas prices keep on going up, im selling my girl. This sucks, im going into college, and im pooping money out for my Chevy. Anyone interested in Buying an 02 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 4x4 with 12k on it? Anywho, 13 miles a gallon just doesnt cut it. Once I fix my mustang up, im gonna be driving that. But then ill be paying out tons to the insurance. Its a lose lost situation. Glad to see someone else is as miserable as I: (Misery likes company) I filled up yesterday my 2003 Chevy, and a 6 gallon gas can to mow the lawn: 71 bucks!!!! OUCH! I litterally picked up a second job, slinging drinks on the weekends, at least I can make enough to fill the tank, and buy a bag of dog food each week, without it coming out of my budget that I need to make payments! LOL kinda glad our hunting vehicle got totaled it was a suburban and when it got filled up it was sometimes 80 bucks now we go hunting in an expedition ..... yeah I know Ford but hey it has heated and cooled seats waht do I care ... and best of all I dont have to make th payments or fill it up with gas ... I bet id be spending roughly $23 a day now. Luckely im much closer to home but it still takes over $50 to fill my truck.... I need to start riding one of my horses. I commute just over 40 miles (one way) to work and it's costing me around $10 per day on gas...and that's just to work and back. That doesn't count the driving I do on the weekends. Paying $2.42 a gallon now, and that was before the barrel price went to $64! I can remember when I started driving, there were gas wars.... gas costed 28 cents a gallon at times.
