NY911Bowhunter Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 I recently noticed that the rear brakes of my 1999 Tahoe "grab" when I come to a full stop from speeds above 30 mph or so. I stop fine, but you can feel a little grab. When I take off, they "break" free, and roll with no problems. What could do this??? My buddy says it could be the brake adjusters, and if I go backwards and jam on the brakes, they will adjust. I tried it with no luck. Any help?? It's definetly a common problem. I'd take it to your GM dealer and get the Brake Maintenance Service done as well as a caliper service.
