maddhunter Posted August 14, 2005 Report Share Posted August 14, 2005 The forcast was for rain all weekend so I got out and got my clover plot mowed and fertilized. And about 7:00 it moved in and is still raining this morning. It's supposed to stay over us until tomarrow morning. We really needed it around here. The grass was turning brown everywhere and farmers selling cattle because they don't have enough grass for them to graze on. And my clover wasn't doing to good either. My dad told me at church that he got 1 1/2 inches and it was still raining.(That's where my plot is ) We are supposed to get some more tonight and in the morning. My dads rain guage has totaled 4 inches for the last 48hrs at 7:00 this evening. I think we may be getting another 2-3 before it's over. The only 2 bad things that will come from the rain is the yard will grow faster and it will be very very hot humid when it leaves out. But it is well worth it!!!! It killed the satelite before it ever made it to the house! Once it did it was like someone turned on a faucet! We will probably pay for this but we needed it bad!
