NiteRunner
I'm writing about how hunters help others and I'm getting together some of the programs like hunters helping the hungry, Fundraisers etc. But I can't think of them all, and I would like to include alot. I know there's alot going on so if you can would you list some information about the programs you know of, or, where I can find some info? Any and All is Appreciated! Tominator
Re: Hunters Helping Others Right here in this forum we have Norm Sauceman, president of the DHNA and Hogwild63 of HHH Inc. You might want to PM them. I know Buckmasters does that kind of work too.
muggs
Re: Hunters Helping Others Niterunner, I see you're in Ohio too, so you're probably familiar with the controlled deer hunts our state puts on every season. Well I know they work with Hunters and Farmers helping the Hungry during those hunts. You should try contacting the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and find out more. I was invited on one of those hunts, I already had a freezer full of venison, but I was curious to see how they worked so I went. When I found out you could donated your deer to that org and have it delievered to a food bank, I turned in a nice big doe. I know about 5 others guys did the same. Check out their website and get in touch with somebody at the DNR, I'm sure they'll help you out.

Everyone's experiences so I can add them all up. 7th, I've checked into the Women of the Outdoors, unfortunatly you have to be 18 or older, Give me 2 more years and then I'd like to try it!
