Widowmaker
I BOUGHT A CAMO STEALTH CAM FOR $39.99 AND LOVE IT! GOT MY FIRST ROLL OF FILM BACK AND COULN'T NOT BELIEVE THE DOES AND BUCKS THAT WERE CAUGHT ON FILM! THE ONE THING I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT I HAVE ABOUT 5 PICTURES THAT JUST CAUGHT THE BACK HALF OF THE DEER, AND IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THEY HAD TO WALK IN FROMT OF THE CAMERA. WHY ISN'T IT PICKING UP THE HEAD OF THE DEER WHICH COMES INTO THE FIELD OF DETECTION FIRST??

Ohiobucks
Re: ANYBODY HAVE HEADLESS DEER? I don't know about adjusting the trigger speed. Maybe set the camera back off the trail a little farther, you know, give the deer more time in front of the camera. Just a thought.
dogdoc
Re: ANYBODY HAVE HEADLESS DEER? no way to adjust the trigger speed---all cameras are going to do that---just some less than others as they have faster trigger speed. I try to angle the camera so the deer are walking toward or away from the camera--this gives the camera more time to take the pic. When set up perpendicular to a trail you will get a lot of body shots with no head. todd
wtnhunt
Re: ANYBODY HAVE HEADLESS DEER? Have gotten lots of pics of deer parts on slow triggers. Have found that the leaf river digital will have slower triggers when the batteries get a little low, even though the battery indicator may show the batteries to be fine.
