dogdoc
i'm pretty sure a XD card is different than a CF card. A 64MB card will hold approx. 200 pics at 2 Megapixel. Will hold 136 pics at 3 Megapixel. A 126MB card will hold twice a many. I just ordered a 256mb card--cost me 30 bucks with a 15 buck rebate--best price I've seen in a while. Let me know if you want the address. todd

dogdoc
Re: Questions about CF card for Leaf River camera... slug---that defeats the purpose of a digital to take the card and get prints of all the pics. Some places have a card reader where you can look at all the pics then determine which ones you want printed. It will get quite expensive doing that way. Much better to get a card reader and select which pics you want printed. Slug---it is so simple to post pics--if I can do it anyone can. todd
KTMMIKE
Re: Questions about CF card for Leaf River camera... sluggunner, If I can figure out how to post pics then you can too. I once thought it was impossible or real difficult but I figured it out in no time. One way I view pics is through my TV. I have a card reader hooked up to my TV at home & it has a remote control. I just put the card in & sit on the couch & check out game cam pics. I delete the ones I don't want. I develop few & save the rest to my computer. Pretty neat. The card reader that hooks up to your TV only costs about 55.00. You don't want to develop all your digital pics. That would get way too expensive real quick. Reloader
Re: Questions about CF card for Leaf River camera... My camera (Konica-Minolta Z5 not for a trail cam) has a cable that came with it to hook it to your computers USB port. No aditional reader needed. but that requires youto have the comp and the camera in the same place so it may not be as for a trail cam. dogdoc
Re: Questions about CF card for Leaf River camera... slug--the viewer on the DC2 is so small it is really hard to see what you have. you really need some way to view the pics at home. todd
wtnhunt
Re: Questions about CF card for Leaf River camera... Have a 64 card I use with ours, and it depends really. Some pics at night on the medium setting take a lot of space, over 500 kb. I usually get less than a 100 pics on our 64 mb card and it is full. The 512 mb card we picked up at Sams for like $45, have had as many as 200 pics on it and had plenty of room left. Card readers are pretty cheap, think I saw one for under $30 with a card at Sams or wal mart a couple weeks ago.
