Its about 7.30 and we have about 50 so far, usually abotu 50-60 good years up to 100 and last year in winter conditions as low as 20! I have only made 5 kids sing songs couse they were in high school and they only got 1 little sucker,I believe halloween is for the kids and I can be a jerk to the older kids LOL!!Plus they know if they try to egg my house my eggs are bigger and faster, and if they try soap ect my foot is pretty hard! I love this night the little kids coem and you can bug them telling them they are late it was last night, soem are pretty cocky!! Fun night!! I don't mind giving candy to older kids as long as they have a real costume. Tee shirt and jeans with some white face paint doesn't count. When the kids were younger me and the wife would both take them out so nobody was ever home to give out candy.this year me and the baby stayed home and did it.I was kinda suprised , there were only probably 20 kids that showed up.By the end of the night I was telling em to take all the candy they wanted cause I had like 3 bags of it left and my kids were both out and bringing home more LOL. Tominator Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 Re: how many kids?? lol, i have to take my kids over to my brother's house because we live out in the boonies. there's easily 200 or 300 kids running around that complex. my oldest son (the fastest runner) made out with at least 5 lbs of candy last thursday. yeah, my sister in law messes with the high schoolers too. she denied at least one pair of older kids because they had the audacity of just opening their bags without saying "trick or treat". she told them to go pound salt. my 2 year old had a blast saying "chick o' cheat" when he went up to the houses. man, he made out because he was so cute dressed in his little clown costume people were giving him handfuls of candy.
