The glue will not be effected by heat unless they were feltched with melt glue which is not a wise practice and should be used only for inserts. Dry heat from a hair dryer or held over a stove burner works well too but you definately have to pay attention to the vane since they can go from wavy to straight then right to melting in a fraction of a second.
