It looks like maybe he is just panting and the black around his mouth makes it look like he is carrying something. No closed season on fox, I see them pretty regular while deer hunting. We only have cattle on our place and they are not going to kill a calf, plus it is cool just to watch them. I have a killed a few before, but not everytime I see them.
