I guaruntee that if I was still single and didn't have my girls I would not have cared how many guns he had but being a parent changes you. If I catch him in the property I hunt on he will be getting a whoopin. Talked to a buddy of mine at the Sherriffs office and he said he would get it filed for me but tresspassing charges are a very minor offense in Oklahoma. I told him I would take care of it myself if it happened again. I am pretty sure the guy was wasted. I know his ex wife and when they got a divorce he would sit in the attic and drink a case of whiskey a week til she found out he was there. He is scum. Some kids were shooting .22's and their bullets were ricocheting off the water and flying by my buddy and I. They tucked and ran when we started waving arms and yelling. Tell the police to check him for a permit to carry. He was not on his own land, right? In Indiana you can't even hunt with a hand gun without a permit to carry, except on your own land. Umm tresspassing is the least of his worries he cannot by law shoot a firearm in a known unsafe direction ... you warned him that is unsafe if he does it again that is neglegence and that is much more serious then tresspassing. Next time he does this just call the law tell them the dudes shooting at you again and word it that way .... you warned him alreaduy and he didnt seem to care. thats neglegence. Worst case scenario is that if something does happen, like someone does get shot, it is on record and the police know who to visit first. Also, in case the guy does start shooting again, the cops can get there right away without needing grid coordinates to get there. You definately want something on record.
