Well, one of the classes I took was an online weather studies class. Thinking it would be convenient and a great way to maximize my courseload without giving up too much time, I have been surprised by how much work this involves. It's a fascinating course...but would advise anyone who thiinks about taking such a class to ask around. I'm not sure, but think professors may give tons of work just to make sure people are putting in effort that would normally be applied attending classes. It's not unusual to take two hours reading per week and 5-6 on the lab portion alone and 1-2 on review questions. Hence, part of why I haven't been on much.
