I have always wanted to see a player get checked so hard that the glass breaks and it finally happened tonight. Awsome game between the Bears and the Albany River Rats(AHL). The Bears have the 2nd best record in the AHL. Me I don't think he should be wearing an ( A ) on his jersey,, for one thing this team as way too many veterns that desrve it, and secondly I haven't seen one bit of leadership from him,, don't get me wrong the kid is talented, but he's a rookie and he just jumped into the NHL from the AHL because of his performance in the Worl Juniors... That is something you get for proving your skills in the NHL, showing long term leadership, in the NHL. Leadership comes from example-who else on the Penguins is doing that. When Hatcher sticked him and cracked three teeth I hope some veterans showed some leadership and stepped up. Tampa and the Bruins at 7:30pm,, Samsonov is supose to be back in the lineup tonite, and hopefully Raycroft got lost somewhere, and they play Hannu in goal..... The first period was pretty uneventful,, Hannu did a little head standing but nothing major... Second period, a little action a couple minutes into it Premeau scores with Isbister and Axellsson assiting making it 1-0. Bergeron scores his first ever shorthanded goal at 11:49 of the period assisted by Murray,,giving the Bruins a 2-1 lead to win the game.....
