dogdoc
Re: deer beds? i don't know if you can actually tell how big a deer is by the bed--they may reuse it several times which might make it bigger. As far as using beds to determine what type of deer is using it--does usually bed in groups so you will see multiple beds---bucks usually bed alone after they split from their bachelor groups so a single bed is probably a buck. todd

Tominator
Re: deer beds? I'd say it's a huge deer if in fact that is a deer bed. Most of the deer beds I see aren't much bigger than around 3'
Hillbilly
Re: deer beds? a 45" inch bed is probably a big deer close to around 200+ pounds. I've seen a 46" bed and swore the deer was probably huge, then two days later a hunter killed a 270lbs buck near my land.
