Right now I cant do much else with the new born so ive been fletching until im out of arrows! I have some Crest Wraps ordered but im fletching bare shaft until they come in.... I couldnt wait. Anyone have any tips on fletching? Everything thus far is trial and error. Here is what Ive done. I tore/ cut the old vanes. I then used a dull knife (I watched Todd) and removed what was left of the vane. I use acitone to take off old glue and then use alchohol to clean that shaft. I let it dry and glue the new ones on with super glue. I may move to fletchtite later but right now the glue really seems to be holding. Anyway I know its not rocket science but does anyone have any other tips, info, etc.? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GLAD to hear you are enjoying the flecthings.... ,,, sounds like you have things under control with applying them.... Just be sure to add a dabb of glue to the leading front of the fletching... Ive been using standard glue and its a fight to keep it from running all over. Putting the dot on the end of the fletching is a great tip too. Thats something I forgot. I use Bohning Fletch-Tite on all my vanes and now feather with real good results. Hard as heck to get em off to replace damaged ones. Wraps make it even better IMO.
