bghunter777 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Share Posted October 9, 2005 wow awesome evening I will make a long story short there were 8 deer under my stand when I walked in 1 was about a 15 inch wide 8 this is at 345 then while on stand I saw 27 deer I tried my hardest not to count repeat and I did see a few of those 2 times that were not counted as for bucks 1-3point 1-4point 2-6point all within shooting range I saw one heck of a buck he was huge at least 3 or 4 past the ears and his G1and G2s were prob both at least a foot long with good mass he was a mainframe 10 or 12 point at minumum 140 but I would put him higher than that never got closer than 60 yds also 40 yards behind me I had a 120 class 8 what a nite this is Pa not suppose to have nites like that unless u live in pike county Illinois or somewhere like that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is up to the hunters of Pa to show some restraint from shooting the yearlings. Age makes big bucks. They also need to understand the importance of not overhunting the resource. Including the doe.
