They got it going and put it on the water. They are stranded and it is sinking I have been on the phone with Highway Patrol and 911. They are trying to swim for shore now. They should stay by the boat, and hang on to their PFD's Don't know if you have any way of getting in contact with them, I imagine not. Sure hope they do OK. Prayers sent. hutchies Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2005 Re: Need some prayers guys like now Yeah what happened is something in the lower unit went out and when they raised it the rubber boot ripped a 3 inch hole. The water got up to the top of the rear of the boat but never acutally came over. Luckily they got someone to get them to shore and when I got the trailer under it and got it out the thing had about 150-200 gallons of water in it. When they said they were going to run it I thought just around the cove. They were 5-6 miles from the boat ramp. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
