I hate when a race goes this way and the drivers are afraid to give 100%. I think Goodyear needs some competition to step up their tire program. Worst races I've seen this year have been at Charlotte (I don't call it Lowe's either). The 48 should not have won that race. He wasn't even close to the best car last night. At least when I was awake. So, did NASCAR keep throwing cautions every 20 laps then or what? I fell asleep shortly after the air-pressue rule. They since ground the track and the drivers were running 4 to 5 mph faster. It wasn't the tires (so to speak)...don't think anyone anticapated the faster speeds. Even a few drivers said...we are abusing these tires...its not the tires. I don't know what to think...how come Ryan Newman didn't have any tire troubles in the busch race? How come not all the cars have tire troubles? They all use the same tires! I say its a combination of the track surface and aggresive set-ups. I think it is BS that they threw some comp cautions and mandated an air pressure rule after all the guys wrecked early. You can't do that for half a race. [/ QUOTE ]...as far as im concerned nascar is a joke anymore period!!!!.....i was a fan before nascar became "cool"..... so to me these last 10 or 15 years have become a joke....them trying to be mainstream, or politicaly correct is a joke also......they seem to have forgotten what got them to where they are now..... On another note, I was a little angry when Dale Jr. AND Matt Kenseth blew tires on the SAME friggin lap! Now that sucked. Especially for Matt and the chase, but he only lost a few more points.
