archerjg
We were moving the combine up the road to change platforms this evening and someone ran into the back of it. No one was injured thankfullly. It totalled her Blazer and snapped the rear axle out of the combine. Looks like we have to get the old combine up and running to pick the corn. This is the third bad thing to happen to my family in less than a month. Archerjg
archerjg
Re: Bad Evening!!!! John Deere 4420.It weighs about 5 tons and the car shoved it the 30+ feet up the road after it hit. It is fixable, but it will take some time to fix. Archerjg

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Bad Evening!!!! Thats sad to hear, fall is harvest time, people need to look out and be prepared for farmers sharing the road with us. Another thing people are neglected are school buses, slow down for them and be prepared to stop when the yellow lights come on. Safety saves lives people, don't be in a hurry!! archerjg
Re: Bad Evening!!!! The real bad thing is the combine was light up like a christmas tree. all the lights were on reflectors, slowmoving vehicle sign, and flashing light. She was moving pretty good when she clipped the combine it made it jump off the ground in the back. We are going to to try fix it, but it will take some time. The Gleaner hasn't been too bad we just have to put batteries on it and grease it. It just won't pick beans. Archerjg
