archerjg
We had the furnace repair man out tonight for the second time this week as they didn't fix it right the first time, and as he was leaving he backed completely off in the ditch and buried the van up to the bumper and of course crushed the culvert pipe as well. The other side was already crushed by the trash truck. No we are not talking a narrow driveway two vehicles could pass and he runs into the ditch and buries the van. The tractor is at my aunt's where we have been moving downed trees so we hooked the truck up and moved him about six inches before losing traction on the wet gravel. Dad's truck had the rear tires smoking it looked like we were at the 1/4 mile tracking heating the tires for a run. We are now waiting on the tow truck that is overdue by more than and hour. The ditch is totally screwed up as well. I guess next week we will be fixing the culvert pipe and the ditch as I have to work ths weekend. LifeNRA
Re: Well this is fun. Wow! we also had our furnace guy out here twice in one week! Costs us about $400 for both trips! Maybe you should tell them to fix your pipe! Hmmmmmm or reduce your bill to cover the cost of pipe repairs!!!

archerjg
Re: Well this is fun. This was a different furnace guy and he actually got it working. He ran into the ditch a total of four times before he got stuck. The tow truck finally got here about 10:00 he was in another county when they called him. We didn't think the tow truck was going to get him out for a while as the thruck was being pulled backwards. He got out and again almost backed into the ditch again. So next week we will fix the ditch and the culvert pipe. He won't be fixing anything wouldn't want him to come back and fix it and then run over it and get stuck again.
