6sixpoint_nobrows Posted October 26, 2005 Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Re: woods or fields depends my friend it just depends....are you hunting just in the woods or are you on a trail that leads to a mojor food source like a field, are the deer hitting the fields hard, in the mournings or afternoons....i have two stands set up like this, i have one in a creek line boradering two fields, passed up a small basket racked buck and a doe there sunday night, and i also have a stand in the timber a little ways thats on a mojor trail leading to the food source that the hit well in the mourning's... in the early season i had my stealth cam set up all summer and its still set-up, that way i can keep track of there movements and patterns...good luck, and be safe Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
