MossySNPR Posted October 22, 2005 Report Share Posted October 22, 2005 Well guys got back from Quebec a week ago from our nine day moose hunt. Downed a cow and her two calves. Anyway, there are juts TONS of ruffed and spruce grouse all over, they stand in the raod, they don't fly and if they do its only like 5 metres. We shot them all with a 410 relocating from spot to spot for moose, and I shot one spruce female with my slingshot and a ballbearing, their just THAT dumb! Ended up with only 22, last year we got 33. Me, holding a couple ruffies The breasts... mmm A pic of me with four birds and a breast near the start of the week. Three spruce and two ruffies, shot last day of last hunt.
