Squirrelhunter91
If you are going to use a Foxpro, then you should definetly check out these sounds: DSG Cottontail Lucky Bird Rodent Distress Those are 3 of the most effective distress sounds Foxpro has. Then as for howls take a look at the Male Challenge, Female Invitation howl, a few pup distress sounds and the Interoggation Howl. Just ask around the forums.. jdickey
Re: Most effective call for bringing in Coyotes? Hey Mick.... a couple of ways to go with calling yotes and predators. The old reliable "hand" calls will always work - never need batteries, a lot more economical, and for some hunters... more fun! Or... the e-caller! I came up with a home made e-caller which was very economical. I had an old portable CD player and found the Musical Powerhorn at Radio Shack, bought some Johnny Stewart CD's and was in business for less than $75.00. My favorite call for both hand calls and e-calls, is the distressed puppy call. If anything is close by, it will be there very fast - sometimes less than 5 minutes. If nothing shows, then I'll go to rabbits. That set works for me.... but you be the judge!
