wtnhunt
Well, the youth hunt is this weekend, my 9 year old is pretty pumped. She hit the bullseye on the 50 yard target with the .243 Sunday while practicing and had to take the target to school to show her teacher and classmates. The rest of her grouping was pretty good and also timely although she did pull her first shot. I think she is as ready as a 9 year old could possibly be, only problem is my wife is having irregular contraction and our baby is basically due any time. She is at 39 weeks and this is the third kid. She has been having contractions since last week, they will get to every 15 minutes for 3 or 4 in a row then quit for a couple hours. I thought she would go into full labor over the weekend so I cut my hunting short and stayed close to home with the radio. She has an appointment tomorrow, and seeing as how she had to have her water broke and the drug potosin(sp) to make the contractions stronger with both kids, I am hoping they go ahead and sned us on to the hospital. Our 9 year old is going to be torn if I dont get to take her this weekend .
Tominator
Re: Timing Well, there will be other days for your daughter William. Hopefully she'll get to hunt and a new sibling. Good luck with the new baby.
Shaun_300
Re: Timing Stuff happens and comes up Bill, and you can't do much about it when its something like a pregnancy. I'm sure your daughter will forget all about hunting when she sees her new baby brother or sister. Best of luck with the baby!

archerjg
Re: Timing Good luck with the new chilld. Hopefully he/she comes soon and your daughter can go hunting. If not There is always next year and she could always go out with you I know its not the same, but she would still be out in the woods. buckee
Re: Timing All the best on the new baby Willy. Lots and lots of time to take your daughter hunting in the future. Babies don't come along every hunting season
wtnhunt
Re: Timing You guys are probably right, but I am still afraid she will be a bit disappointed, and we really have no control over when the baby will be born. Maybe things will progress today.
