brain Posted October 27, 2005 Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 i have this little section of woods that is really thick so its not very good for bowhunting until the leaves start dropping.i usually stay away from it until then because there is no need to spook them if i cant hunt them.well i went there today to see if the leaves are down and i couldnt believe it.i saw about 15 rubs and about 10 fresh scrapes.i saw a small sapling that had been ripped in half and was laying 5 feet from its base.ity poured here 2 nights ago and all the tracks and rubs are brand new.the tree that i picked for my climber has 2 rubs and 2 scrapes within 20 yrds.man i wish i didnt have to work tonight and tommorrow.but you bet i will be in that tree saturday.
