tallone
I made it up to my camp Sat with great expectations. The cold front was moving in and it was going to be in the 30's for the lows thru Wed which was how long I was going to stay. Sunday evening the temp's started coming down and I had just saw a big buck run by at mach 3 head low and tongue hanging out, haven't got a clue why, there was no one else hunting. About 45 min later I heard what I thought was horns hitting coming from the same area the buck had came from. Right as the sun was going out of sight two does walk out, now this is the most deer I've seen since the season opened, I drew back and let go of my arrow but when I did I heard a loud noise from my bow, I looked and my bottom limb was split and my cam was bent! I don't need to say what happened. I climbed down went back to the camp, loaded eveything up and drove the 2 and half hours back home shaking my head and steaming at my stupidity and just knowing my bow season had come to an end. the next morning I called a Parker dealership and explained what happened thinking it would take weeks to get the parts in, he told me to bring the bow over and he might be able to help me out. I drove the hour to see him, I walked in and he looked at my bow and saw the damage and made a phone call to someone that I assumed was with Parker, explained what happened and that I needed to get back in the woods as soon as possible. When he hung up the phone he took one of the two bows like mine that were hanging up for sale (brand new) and proceeded to take both limbs and the cam off, put them on my bow and sent me out the door in less than an hour NO CHARGE!! I took off back to the camp that night and Tuesday morning got my first deer of the season a nice doe!!!! I'm going to send Parker a nice letter concerning the great service I received at this guys shop!! Never thought when I was driving home that I would be back in a day. The best bow shop in this area was ran by a woman and she retired last year and I've been looking for another and I think I found it. Just had to tell you guys about it. tallone
Re: What a week! Long story Try not to laugh but I am probably the only person who doesn't own a digital camera or at least a scanner, it's on this years Christmas list to myself. I made a quartering away shot right under the rib cage and she went about 30 yards. The slick tricks and my parker worked great! One thing I noticed and didn't figure out until today was my bow was louder than before and as I was driving in to work I realized he didn't replace the limb savers when he swapped out the limbs I'll call him tomorrow and give him a piece of my mind for that slip up!! NOT! I'll pick some up tomorrow and put them back on and everything will be ready for next weekend.
bowhunt101
Re: What a week! Long story Sounds great!!!! We got two great dealerships in my area and Parker makes a great bow, Parker and Mathews in my opinion are awsome cus our dealer is a Mathews, parker, and bowtech dealer.... Anyways congrats on both getting bow fixed and the kill, takemeasy and have a good hunting season....-tim

tallone
Re: What a week! Long story I had an issue with one of my cam bushings shortly after I bought it and got the same service from another dealer. I do love the bow and have no regrets buying it. The reason I went with parker they were one of the few one I could get in my draw length 32"
