ladydiehard Posted November 1, 2005 Report Share Posted November 1, 2005 I've NEVER had this to happen before but I picked multiple deer ticks off of myself during this recent T-Zone hunt. One of them actually buried itself part way into my neck but a nurse pulled it out. I'm on meds now as a precaution against Lyme Disease. I hate ticks! I am watching the spot closely, the tick made it into a beaker with alcohol to be shown as an example! The yellow/orange back end is what gave it away: I have since checked and re-checked myself! The deer are numerous and the ticks seem to attach themselves even if you are walking your dog outside. We have our lawn sprayed for ticks because our daughter likes to play outside and I don't want to take any chances with ticks.
