bowhunt101
Parker makes a great bow for the money.... They are rugged, reliable, dependable, and wont let you down if thats what you go with.... I am looking at the Parker Pheonix 32" but dont know yet, my old bow blew up on me and Im looking for something to replace it but dont wanna break the bank on something like a Mathews, Bowtech, or Hoyt.... Dont get me wrong all three of those are AWSOME bows but Parker is really good for around 600bucks for a bare bow.... There outfitter bows can get on up there but for just the bare bow their top of the line bow is only around $619 compared to the 800 and 900dollar Mathews or other xbrand bow.... Another bow Im looking at is the Parker EZ Draw but dont know yet, I guess Ill figure it out when I go to buy them, but I will tell you if you are in the market for a new bow DO NOT buy it without shooting it first.... Make sure you test shoot it in the bowshop before you buy so you know what works the best for you.... I go to Great Bridge Archery in Chesapeake VA and when I was first getting into archery this season they let me shoot a Mathews SB (switchback) just for comparison purposes and I was amazed, if I had 800dollars I would have already bought that bow........-tim

[/ QUOTE ] He's right! You need to shoot multiple bows to see which fits you. This was the advise given to me from in here. I shot the Pheonix 34 Outfitter, but I wanted to shoot other bows. But Cabela's didnt give me that chance! LOL! Gave me a deal I couldn't refuse! I had two other bows that felt good to me as well. They were not from Cabela's, some sorta local pro-shop, Archery Research, and a high end PSE. But I got the Pheonix 34 Outfitter, and I shoot very well with it! But I will say this, I love it! Quiet, fast, but I did change some of the items out though. Different rest, sight, and quiver. I will probably buy another one one day!
