I used to look at it as "I have to get up an hour earlier to get to my stand before sunrise." Now I look at it as "I have an extra hour to hunt before I have to go to class." Man....when I was younger, I absolutely could NOT get out of bed! I'm getting better about it...something about the thought of a big buck that makes you get up early and stay up late...... I haven't really noticed getting tired any earlier, I still go to bed at around midnight and get up around 6:30am for work. I just find it weird driving to work in complete light, and coming home in complete darkness! I leave for work around 7:15am, and before the time change, 7:15 was right before sunrise, and I leave work at 5:00pm, and it was just before sunset. I like it because: 1) It means that deer are a lot RANDY 2) It means that fall is here 3) I am more likely to shoot a deer after the time change because that allows me to track it, gut it, and take it to the processor and still get back before 9:00. It was funny because I was painting the garage door last night and ended right after dark. I ran in the house and took a shower because I thought it was time to put the kids down for the night....it was 6:30! D It takes some getting used to, that's for sure. I don't care for it to much either.It's dark when I come to work in the morning and dark when I go home at night.Before the time change I could hunt for a few hours after work,and now it's only on weekends. Makes me feel like I'll never get anything done, but like Huntin'sonovagun said, I get an hour more to hunt in the morning before I have to be home.
