[/ QUOTE ] I'll agree with the lantern deal. But I'll disagree with using a flourescent lantern. A Coleman lantern that is fueled by propane is the absolute best I've found. That's followed in 2nd place by the original Coleman fuel lantern. I also like to carry a 2 million CP rechargeable spotlight. You don't get a lot of run-time out of them. But when the going gets rough, sometimes the light blast will how things that a lesser light will not. Also............take a roll of toilet paper with you. Not for a potty stop in the woods. Mark the blood trail as you go with the TP. That way when you have to search hard to find blood, you always know where the last spot you found was. Plus.......a line of TP squares back behind you can give clues as to which way the animal is trending. It's biodegradable, too. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
