hutchies
It's about that time of the year when less fortunate kids need us. I normally sponsor at least 4 kids a year from my local school. Check with your kids schools. Most have programs setup to help out and will let you pick age and gender you choose. Thinking of the smiles they have Christmas morning is all the thanks I need.
Guest Andrea
Re: Angels............. We do it every year. I really look forward to it. We usually get ours from the Angel tree at Wal-mart. Or Cracker Barrel.

stevebeilgard
Re: Angels............. yea, we pull cards off of trees all the time. generally pick on teen agers, as they tend to get overlooked by most
HuntingInMaine
Re: Angels............. My boys love doing this every year. Most of the time the kids are asking for little stuff like a card game or something like that so even on a tight budget we can buy for several kids who other wise would get nothing. hutchies
Re: Angels............. J.B. our school does this because out of 650 kids at a K-12 school they have about 250 under priviliged kids. I like the fact that I get to give back to my immediate area. All gifts are anonymous and the school only asks that you spend around $10 on each kid but for $10 you can't buy jack so I end up spending a little bit but it makes me feel good knowing that they will have something to wake up to Christmas morning.
