ousoonerfan22 Posted November 14, 2005 Report Share Posted November 14, 2005 I dropped off my son's 30-06 at our local gunsmith to have the trigger pull lightened.I asked him about our cva's(optima&wolf)and he said you couldn't do anything with the cva trigger's?Any opinions? Your gunsmith is correct that there is no external adjustments for that trigger mechanisim. The mating surfaces can be tweaked a little by a gunsmith but many of them won't do the job for liability. I just picked up my son's 30-06 and Remington has awesome triggers I wish these cva's were like that. I also dropped off my father's marlin 17 mag for a trigger job.
