on my gm half ton you hit set, then seek and scan for hours and minutes. Others you hold down the seek or scan buttons for a few seconds and then it starts to change the number.

This is how I have to change my time as well. On my 88 S10 Blazer, I believe it was the same way!

ditto with jim.

i had a 98 sonoma, and that's how i did it as i recall.

i can remember getting a little aggravated at having to remember how to set the stupid clock in that thing, and all GM vehicles for that matter. i mean, what's the big secret? why the hassle in changing a clock? why do you have to hold down a button for 5 seconds to change the stupid clock?

give me two buttons, one for hours, one for minutes and make it change when i push the button. no secret combinations, no time requirements, no secret high signs or handshakes.

2 buttons, do you hear the consumer GM?
