deerslayer06
How about those Indianapolis Colts, eh....eh? This is the best team by far and it looks as there is noone out there that will stop Peyton or get past this defense. Alot of sports analysists thought they would lose to Cinci. Everyone now should agree.....THE COLTS WILL BE GALLOPING THROUGH DETROIT THIS YEAR!
JimT
Re: INDY COLTS! That great defense gave up 37 this week..I would be very worried about that come playoff time. But thats all......
lil hunter
Re: INDY COLTS! There doin good, but the colts D sure wasn't very hot tonight. I didn't expect it to be such a high scoring game.
Guest Andrea
Re: INDY COLTS! Colts are good, can't deny that. But if their defense doesn't straighten up.........their game against the Jags is gonna be tough. BTW......................I cannot believe the Ravens beat the Steelers. Hillbilly
Re: INDY COLTS! A strong Defense is a Stronger Offense. Yeah it was a big scoring game and I knew it would be. Palmer is tough and he spreads the football around just like peyton. Dallas Clark stepped up and was the player of the game in my book. The Pitt Steelers has me worried about the first loss. With Big Ben back and healthy it'll be hard to stop them. Just pound the ball in with Edge. If they get by the steelers with a win, then they will be undefeated. buckbuster11
Re: INDY COLTS! If the Steelers can get healthy they have as good a chance as anybody. But right now they have way to many guys hurt. Hopefully that changes by Monday.
James7xChamp3
Re: INDY COLTS! Colts are looking good...........but they have the last 3 years. They need to win that big game in the playoffs which has been the big problem for them. This could be the year if they stay healthy.
VtBowhunter
Re: INDY COLTS! I wonder if they're a lot like Pittsburgh in that when Big Ben is hurt the Steelers struggle. I wonder if Peyton was out if the Colts would fold. I still say the Steelers win next Monday Night.

If Big ben is in the lineup then the game will be very very close. If Tommy Maddox gets the start then it will be a blow out. Big Ben is a big plus for the Steelers victories. Big Ben is a winner, and he proves it over and over. Very Durable QB with a lot of skills. With Big Ben in the line up the score will be Colts 37 Steelers 33. Without Big Ben in the lineup and Tommy Maddox in the score will be Colts 27 Steelers
deerslayer06
Re: INDY COLTS! yea, yea, yea..........BRING "big ben" on. im tired of the "upset hype". Ben is NO match for PEYTON IN THE DOME!
colts1888
Re: INDY COLTS! The defense may have gave up 37 points, but they still won the game on the road in a town who was considering this the "biggest game in 50 years". The Bengals have a very good offense do not forget, they were not 7-2 for no reason. They have a very tough RB and very good receivers and also a very tough QB. In a lot of ways, they mirror the Colts. The most important thing about the Colts this year is they have prooven they can beat you in any type of game. They have won games 10-3 and then they have won games 45-37. Every defense is going to have a bad game or 2 throughout the year. The key is wether or not you win the games where the D lacks. There are a lot of teams in the NFL who cant do it.

buckbuster11
Re: INDY COLTS! [ QUOTE ] The steelers are too overated. Ben Rothlesburger is a great QB but he's not Peyton Manning. The Colts have the best team all around in the NFL right now. Great D and the best offense ever. [/ QUOTE ] How are the Steelers overrated? Their record is what it is...7-3. I havent heard a single person in the media actually pick the Steelers to win this game. [ QUOTE ] I think the Steelers are for real... but they do worship Big Ben to much if he's out they play crappy, even the defense dont show up.....I always thought the PATS were overrated.... now I know the Ravens are..... colts1888
Re: INDY COLTS! This game should be interesting. The Steelers are a blitzing team and Manning absolutely destroys teams who blitz him. So, will the Steelers go away from what they do best or stick with it and still blitz? Big Ben is a decent QB, he does a good job of managing the game which is all he has to do with a solid d behind him. The D line could give him problems, but im getting concerned with Freeney. He has done basically nothing the last 2 games and i got a feeling his foot injury is worse then what we are being told.

[/ QUOTE ] Steelers tackle Marvel Smith didnt play last week and is questionable this week. His rookie backup gave up 3 sacks last week and I lost count of all the other blocks he missed. If Smith doesnt play, Freeny and the Indy line is going to have a field day of incredible proportions on Monday.

VtBowhunter
Re: INDY COLTS! Mick, the Steelera are far from overrated. They're just really beat up with injuries. Don't forget that this is the same team that went 15-1 last year with all the same players with the exception of Burress. Any team that pounds the ball like Pittsburgh does is bound to have a lot of close games and even a few loses.
007hunter
Re: INDY COLTS! I don't think its gonna be Ben who is gonna beat the Colts. Its going to be the running game. From what I saw last sunday the colts were giving up to many big runs. The Steelers are going to control the ball and the time. Not allowing Manning on the feild is how you beat the Colts. This game will not be a shoot out, the Steelers don't have the weapons that the Colts do. Its all about controling the ball. If the Steelers can run the ball, which unless the Indy defense steps it up, the Steelers win.

You think the Steelers are the first team this year who is going to try and run the ball on the Colts? Dont think the Colts cant win a ball control game either, they have won games 10-3 and 13-6 with Manning throwing for under 200 yards and James getting 30 carries.. I never made any predictions about how this year will turn out, just observations of what i have seen so far. I dont think i would be talking about the last 3 years though, unless you want to remind me of how those years ended for the Steelers as well?? Didnt think so.
