huntinsonovagun
I cannot get Macromedia Flash Player to install. Without this, sites like the Mathews and Hoyt sites don't work. Can't play games, etc. How can I download this program???? Anyone else have problems?

VermontHunter
Re: Mozilla Firefox users....... OK did some investigating and research,, think I found your problem....Here's what I found out in the FAQ's section of Foxfires Hompage.... Download launches blank window From MozillaZine Knowledge Base When downloading a file you may find that Firefox launches an unwanted blank window. This occurs because the webmaster has specified that the download should start in a new blank window even though this was probably not their intention. This is a known issue, Bug 241972. You can fix the problem by downloading the Disable Targets for Downloads extension. Webmasters can fix the problem on their site by removing target=_blank or window.open from the download links. Here's the link to that page and how you can get the download to fix that problem... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Download_launches_blank_window And you might want to checkout this link also.... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Macromedia_Flash Hope this one works for ya.... This Mozilla Foxfire seems to be buggier than a warm day in the woods... Think I will stay with IE for the time being.....
