Rifles Browning – The T-Bolt Rimfire that has a straight pull bolt is the newest offering CZ USA – Offering a rifle with guaranteed 1 MOA accuracy chambered for the 300 Mamba Kimber – The Model 8400 will be lengthened to accommodate standard length cartridges like the 30-06 and 300 Win Mag Marlin – Releasing long range versions of their lever action guns to go along with the new Hornady leverEvolution ammo Ruger – 10/22 Compact with 16.5” barrel and a Model 77 Frontier that uses a LER scope Savage – The Accu-Trigger will be available on the Rimfire guns, and they are releasing a Classic centerfire rifle with a hinged floorplate, Savage is also releasing a Precision Varminter that utilizes a right handed bolt and a left handed port. Weatherby – New version of the Mark V called the Ultra Mark that is between the Mark V Deluxe and the Custom Mark V. Winchester – SuperX Rifle that is a gas operated semi automatic centerfire rifle. Winchester also releases a couple takedown versions of the Model 94 lever action gun. Ccelebrating the 100th Anniversary of the 30-06, Winchester is offering a commerative edition of the 1885 single shot and the Model 70 Super Grade. Ammo Federal - Federal releases a new cartridge called the 338 Federal. It is a proprietary cartridge design that is offered with 180 and 210 grain bullets. Federal is expanding their Fusion line to include 25-06 Rem, .280 Rem, 7-08 Rem, .338 Win Mag, and .300 WSM chamberings. Buffalo Bore – is offering some heavy thumping .45-70 and .450 Marlin loads for use in modern guns. Hornady – As mentioned before, Hornady is releasing their leverEvolution ammo that has a higher ballistic coefficient bullet with a synthetic tip that is soft to make it safe in tubular magazines. Optics Burris – Burris is offering a rifle scope with a built in laser range finder. The scope will have the popular Ballistc Plex reticle. Leupold – Releases the VX-L which is a funny looking scope that uses a large objective lens that is made in a half moon shape to allow lower mounting on the rifle. I looked into the Swarovski LRF scope several years ago but like AJ said it was heavy and a bit awkward. I have since bought the Swarovski 8x30 LRF for my ranging needs( gave my Leica 1200's to my father ...great by the way) and just picked up a Swarovski 20x60x80 High Definition spotting scope. Is the Super-X rifle a BAR in winchester clothes? similar to the way the Browning Gold and Super X shotguns are very close realtives? That Savage varminter sounds interesting... CZ - Releasing left handed versions of the 452 American rimfire guns. Ammo Winchester - releasing a new bullet in the Supreme Elite line of ammo called the XP3 bullet. It has a bonded core, polymer tip, boat tail, and Lubalox coating. It will be available in multiple offerings. Optics Zeiss - Releasing the 6-24x72mm Victory Diavari in the USA.
