Guest Rolngthun Posted December 3, 2005 Report Share Posted December 3, 2005 Hello, I have a Buckhorn mag in line. I put a scope on it and went to site it in. Groups great, holes touching. I started out at 25 yards got it right on, went out to 50 yards, and all of a sudden it is hitting 6 inches high. Bring it down so it hits 1 inch high. Go out to 100 yards and 6 inches high again. Bring it back to 50 still right on. I don't get it. I expected 1 inch high at fifty to be close to right on at 100 yards. [/ QUOTE ] What difference does that make? If your scope moves the point of impact (POI) when you increase or decrease the magnification, you need a new scope at least send it back for repair. They are like look through scope mounts, I could still use the sites. Does help with capping. I was wondering about the height too. Think it is the problem? Only cure is to get lower scope mounts?
