buckee Posted December 8, 2005 Report Share Posted December 8, 2005 This is a friend of mine. Her name is Chantelle, and her and her hubby Adam are avid bow-hunters. Adam and Chantelle have 3 really nice cougar hounds. It's too bad they aren't in the picture, but apparently, this is her 2 redbone hound's first successful cougar. They've been chasing lots, but this is their first time for an actual bow-kill on one. Adam and Chantelle are pretty proud of their dogs, so maybe I can get her in here to respond to this thread. They are also both excellent taxidermists. They mounted both of my blacktails (excellent job) and everytime I stop in to visit, they are hard at it. There's a good population of them where I hunt in West Texas, but it's still very uncommon to actually see one. They're one of the wariest animals in North America.
