I was thinking....

With all the people these days who are offended by Merry Christmas and the word Christ, what are they gonna do about their Christmas trees? Are they going to become "Holiday trees"? And for those people who are offended, do they even have Christmas trees? Hmm, they won't say Merry Christmas, yet I'll bet 10 to 1 they have a Christmas tree. Just some random thoughts.... smirk.gif

It's those folks who take the "merry" out of "Merry Christmas". I also think they're taking freedom of speech a bit far. Just because anti-Christmas people don't like the the name "Christ" doesn't mean they have to make they're opinion known to ALL. But I bet come Christmas morning most of them will be sitting under a CHRISTmas tree opening gifts with their family. To some it's about spending time with family; to others it's a religious celebration as well as time with family.

Either way; I wish everyone here a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!

Re: I was thinking....

I heard a little blurb on Glen Beck this morning. He apparently addressed this issue the other day on his show.

You can look at it two ways IMHO. I'm not one to impose my thoughts and beliefs on someone else. So who am I to say you must observe Christmas like I do?

Then the other side of the coin. Face it, this country was founded on Christianity, and Chrisitanity is still the majority, so if you don't like me celebrating my beliefs, turn your head, walk away, and go celebrate your Kwanza.

Merry Christmas brothers and sisters, and have a nice day. cool.gif
