coles Posted December 9, 2005 Report Share Posted December 9, 2005 well today the drug dog came to school and he got busted for having pot. the dog checked all the vehicles in the parking lot and we have known it was going to happen sometime soon so i guess she should have known too. but now it has basically screwed his life. he knew he was going to get caught so he self-reported and only has 3 days oss and 10 days off the basketball team plus what his parents gave him and he was going to see what the cops were going to do after school. but i feel bad because i never did anything about it. i knew he smoked but didnt know he had been recently. i told him along time ago that it wasnt worth it and he would get caught sooner or later but i guess he didnt believe me. the other downer to it is that he was my huntin bud and depending on his parents we might not get to hunt again together the rest of our senior year before we go off to college. so just pray for him and his family so they handle this in the right way and get through it ok. thank ya'll Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't mean about getting caught, but that he is at a point in life where he needs to make decisions, he just got a second chance to think about what road he needs to walk. You two may done hunting together this year, however if you friend can stay out of trouble you will have many seasons in the future. Just think about it this way... If left alone his drug use could have escallated into something more serious and eventually could have killed him. Be there for him and urge him to quit that crap. I've never touched the stuff because I've been hurt by people in my life that were users.
