Nut Posted December 12, 2005 Report Share Posted December 12, 2005 That I would have known better. A week ago Sunday we got stranded because of a small ice storm. We walked a 1 1/2 to where we had to hunt but finally got out. Well yesterday we had a little snow and I decided to take a ride to the WMA to just look. Completely not thinking I go in and took this pic Just a couple minutes after this we ended up sideways going up a hill. I got my youngest out of my oldest son's van and then with some daring do by going over a bank and into a field and keeping it going back out to the road. Man was I shaking then. I went back down the road and got a head of steam and finaly got back to the state route which was cleared. This is not like the flatlands where we moved from LOL Note to self....stay home from now on or at least stick to state routes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This past saturday, I had to walk a good extra mile because my car wouldnt make it up the road to where we hunt....oh well...a lil extra exercise never hurt. I know, I worked during the snowstorm last week (I'm the county emergency dispatcher) and we had many cars off the road. Good news is that no one was hurt.
