Born2Hunt
Re: Another big NY nontypical... I would love to know how old this deer is. I'll bet it's older than a year and a half! With QDM we could see many more deer like this in N.Y. .

Doc
Re: Another big NY nontypical... How close to Canandaigua was it? What direction from Canandaigua was it? The Canandaigua area is kind of a dividing line between big open farms to the north and more forested hills to the south. Huge difference in habitat and hunting pressure. Adjam5
Re: Another big NY nontypical... If that deer was in grape country...then he must've been drunk How else would that deer have made the mistake and given the perfect shot up? I'd love to know the age of that deer... NY does have some hidden monsters! Just think how smart that deer was in how long he avoided hunters in a state where there is HEAVY hunting pressure. Great Deer! Congrats! A guy on another site said it was taken 6 or 7 miles from where he hunted in Canandaigua
