Tominator
Re: what bow? It's possible I think. I'd check your local proshops. Most will let you shoot some before you buy.
hoyt_hunter
Re: what bow? PSE, Parker, Reflex, Fred Bear, Martin, and Browning all have bows available for around or under 300 dollars
Born2Hunt
Re: what bow? $300 may be possible but if you think you want a better bow get it because you really do get more for your money when it comes to bows. I know! Check into the Mathews fx it is fast light and short. Priced around $400 plus accesories.

Guest Dub
Re: what bow? Reflex or Diamond would have something nice in that range. I personally feel that the Reflex bows are awesome quality string instruments!!!
BowJoe
Re: what bow? I just sold my FX the other day and bought a used Outback. Nothing at all was wrong with the FX, I just wanted a newer more top of the line bow. The FX is around $250 bare, used or you may find a deal where you can get it set up for the same price. If you wanted it set up with your own stuff then just add the price of what you want to put on it. I would buy the Sims S-Coil, some string silencers and whatever you feel comfortable shooting. It's not a loud bow and shoots the same speed as the Outback.

[/ QUOTE ] Smart man talking there, I have a Reflex and its great, never a problem, fast and quiet plus it didn't cost a fortune. Go with what your pocketbook allows and go to a pro shop and see what your price range allows for. Good luck and come back and tell us what you bought!
