The camera was in the same position for both pictures. I use a 12 volt battery pack with the camera, which also works on 6 "C" cell batteries also. The battery pack lasts for what seems like forever and when using the "C" cell batteries I have gotten over one month (200+ pictures) and the batteries were still good.
