whitetailkiller Posted November 13, 2004 Report Share Posted November 13, 2004 i went hunting this morning,and got a doe!! this is where it gets interesting.... she ran into lochraven resevoir!!! i had to swimm 20 or so yards out in the cold water to retrieve her!!!!i got her on dry land and wanted to take pictures but i jumped in the water with camera still in my pocket....how do i tell my wife i ruined our $300.00 digital camera? she is going to be so MAD......on the good side of things i butchered my first deer by myself......... my neck roast is a little sliced up but i think i did a good job..when i got it all home i put it in a trash bag and put it on my scale(i weigh myself with) and got 97 pounds of meat out of it....my freezer is packed(no room for ice trays)and i still have about 30 lbs left over ..i'm going to go ask my neighbor if i can store some in his freezer.... other than the camera and being almost frozen(icy cold water) today was a great day!!!!!!! [/ QUOTE ] Thats probably what I would do...lol Your best bet is to take the battery and the memory card out of it. DON"T TURN IT ON!! Let it dry for a week or so. You might be surprised.
