Re: Magnetic Signs

I bought my Dad some signs for his truck ( land surveying business) last year for his birthday. They come in handy when you're work truck is also your personal vehicle.

How does the paint hold up on the vehicle where those signs are? I've seen some cases where magnets have caused the body paint to lift and peel.

You have to peel them off often to remove the condensation that builds up underneath.

Another option is to go with the professional decals. They look great and can be removed with no harm done.

Personally I would go with window decals, the paint on your truck fades naturaly with sun exposure, after awhile you will be able to see where the sign was.

Re: Magnetic Signs

The Swimming Pool Company that my Father and I ran in Florida used them with good success.

We had them for years. We protected them by placing them on the front part of the bed, on each side, of the trucks...Just behind a plastic corner protector to shield them from the wind as we traveled the highways. After doing that we never lost one of them wink.gif
