dogdoc
I hope the Raiders don't pick him up---he's over the hill and I feel he'll be on IR on and off the rest of his career.

Hillbilly
Re: Culpepper to be traded??? Ohh Boy, they might becoem the next T.O. and McNabb. I think Randy Moss is a great player and doesn't need Culpepper coming over there and trying to take over.
muggs
Re: Culpepper to be traded??? Interesting, I'm not sure if I'd like to see him on the Browns or not. We have the #12 pick, and I don't think I'd give it up for him Not sure if Frye is the answer at QB, but he has looked promising at times. I think I'd rather try to fill one of our many holes with that pick instead, don't think Culpepper will ever be the same. If you would have ask me this last year, I would have jumped at the chance. Master_Chief
Re: Culpepper to be traded??? Muggs, I agree I don't think we want him on the Browns. Not saying Frye is the next Big Ben but we will never know if we keep playing the QB shuffle.
slugshooter
Re: Culpepper to be traded??? As a native of the same home town of Culpepper (Ocala, FL) and played against him in baseball, I am always partial to Daunte and quick to support him. While the Vikings had a lousy year, it can't all be put on Daunte. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good, after all, he is from Florida, I would have done been tired of those Minnessota winters by now. Any team he goes to he will be an asset to. [/ QUOTE ] I think if the Browns name Frye as the starter and get him some preseason snaps with the first team during the games, then maybe during the season we could see whether or not he's good enough. But I almost wouldn't be surprised if the Browns go after a qb in the draft in the second or third round. As for Culpepper, I dunno. I think he might stick around unless Childress has plans to make Johnson the starting qb. I could see him going to the ravens before I could see him going to the raiders though. Ravens need someone who can win games and their qb hasn't really proved he's good enough to win games. They have a lot of weapons (Heap, Lewis, Taylor) but the qb's poor decision making has cost them some games.
