The other will run and you'll have a mess. You might be able to get it to work. confused.gif I've always used the gel....It's not quite as thick as you think it would be.

He is right!!! I had a mess because I tried some super glue that was soooo runny! Something thicker will work better! I learned the hard way!

I agree with the gel suggestion but would like to add.

Any kind of moisture acts as an accelerant that speeds up the bonding process of the glue. That's why it bonds fingers so quickly. The FASTER the glue cures the WEAKER the bond.

It's a really good idea to swab both contact areas with Acetone before applying the glue to get maximum strength.
